Thanks for the comments Ann and Pat. I love the Canada geese too, but they do make a mess in people areas. There are about 100 gathered at the ponds where I walk most mornings and they "practice" every day flying back and forth. I've been watching and trying to get a close picture of another bird that has joined their flocks.... it is considerably smaller, white in colour and has black under tips on its wings. At first I thought it was an albino, but now realize it is a different species but has totally integrated into this group. Very interesting to watch.
