Such a gorgeous iris photo. My favorite flower and these are stunning.
Peggy King replied:
I am glad you like them, Carol. The colours in these - like sherbet on velvet - are so unique. When I discover their actual name I will post it here.

Thank you Peggy...I have some irises in my garden butthey are nothing to compare with yours! I shall have to venture out to McMillen's..do you remember the variety of these irises??
Peggy King replied:
I am truly sorry that I don't. I will contact McMillen's though and ask them to identify it, then post it here. I remember going through the catalog and circling the ones I liked best, but of course, by the time I looked through my pictures I couldn't put the right names with them. It was a good lesson learned.

Oh, Peggy...I have never seen such beautiful irises!! They are gloroius and really spectacular! I am in awe! Congratulations...best regards..
Peggy King replied:
I'm so glad you like them Jolanta! I never have much luck growing iris, but I spend as much time as I can in a couple of favourite commercial garden farms when they are in bloom. I see you are in Toronto! These particular iris are at McMillen's Iris Farm near Norwich (Woodstock area), about 150km from TO. Worth the trip if you can make it in late June!
