Description
Niagara gorge at the Horseshoe Falls in winter. A bitterly cold and brisk wind made the "mist" today more like sleet which quickly coated everything in its range, including me and my camera. But the experience - and the pictures - made it well worth braving the elements!

Thanks, April. It was the "loneliest" morning I've ever experienced at the Falls where, even before 8 a.m. there usually are crowds of people. It truly was a rare and wonderful sight.
