as a kid i lived near a junkyard nestled in a ravine...a shortcut to the boys club, where i played baseball...i often wished i had collected some of the free artifacts strewn around the grounds...remnants from years gone by, now lost forever!
Peggy King replied:
How we appreciate the things of our youth when we age a bit and finally recognize their value.... the memories at least can still be visited. Thanks so much for the thoughtful comment, William.

Stunning Peggy, this is my fav. Everything is just perfect.
Peggy King replied:
Thanks so much, Erno... it is still my own favourite as well. So glad you like it too.

Lorna Skeie
So well done. Lots of memories here I am sure!
Peggy King replied:
Thank you Lorna.. I love old rusty vehicles and often wonder about the stories they hold. :-)

Ann Horn
Your title is most apt, Peggy! Wonderful painting of these vehicles which certainly have seen better days!

hi peggy, this is my kind of subject, rusting derilects. i paint them for their varied colours & their part in history. you have done a fine job with these ones. i also like the setting. the simple way you have handled the bush, & the luminous sky. nice work. thanks also for your kind comments on my work & my beautifull country. nz. terry
