While art, whether it be drawing or painting or creating in clay, was my first love all through my younger years, after high school I went into a secretarial course at college. The following year I left school altogether, married and started my family. As a stay-at-home-Mom I found my creative outlet in crafts of all descriptions, and in cake decorating and the 'confectionery arts' which I also taught for more than 25 years from my home. Thanks Suzie. It's actually a tree blossom. I'm not sure what the "real" name is, we've always just called them Powder Puff trees. This was taken near beside Lake Osborne at Lake Worth, Florida. I am always fascinated by them, and end up taking dozens of photos, just because they are so brilliantly colourful and so extremely unusual. Glad you enjoy it too!

This is amazing. I've never seen this plant before.

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful, the colours are brilliant, and the image is stage so perfectly against the blue sky background.
